Tough day for the Castle U11's at Sandbach. Facing Winnington first off, who were a very organised side and to be fair didn't face a well organised Newcastle side on the day. We made their rugby look better than it was. The Castle lads picked themselves up in the second half but still didn't manage to close down the space that Winnington exploited. Second game against Sandbach was much better, and we started to show the talent and ability we have. There were some very good performances by individuals. Miles had a great game and was busy affecting play all the time. Ben S and Ben G continue to impress with their ability to be everywhere they need to be. George B is showing his leadership capabilities.

Stand out performances for me were Billy and Tyler. Both have turned full circle in the last two weeks and have listened hard to their coaches, and put that into the field of play. A very well deserved player of the week for Tyler who has impressed for two weeks running now. Well done Ty, thoroughly deserved.
