As the 2026-2027 season arrives I am delighted and proud to take on the role of Director of Rugby here at Newcastle this year.
I am looking forward to driving the club forward and make the club even better both on and off the field, whilst supporting the senior mens, womens and our magnificent Mini and Juniors section.

After a prolonged preseason due to the hot weather and the RFU subsequent delay the start of the season is finally here!

The lads have worked and trained hard throughout preseason and have developed from where we ended last season. We have worked tirelessly on our game plan and structure with great help from our Head Coach Ash and his coaching staff. Away from the field we recruited well in the off season with old players turning the clock black and returning to action, perfectly complimenting our influx of senior colts transforming into their first full season of senior mens rugby.

I am excited to get the season underway and build as we go through, taking each game and challenge as they come.

I wish all the players a great season and hopefully their hard work in preseason will pay off.

We have built upon our strength in depth and once again are fielding 3 senior mens sides in league fixtures, which is a great credit to the club and those who work tirelessly in the background to make it happen week in and week out.

All the best to everyone who is taking to the field for Newcastle this season, lets make this season the best one for a long time.

Up the Cas!!!!!
